This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.
The Annual General Meeting of the Football Supporters’ Association will take place on Saturday 29th June 2019 (Royal National Hotel, 38-51 Bedford Way, WC1H 0DG, London).
The AGM provides members, associates and affiliates with an opportunity to propose motions for new policy and campaign areas. It is free to attend and open to all members.
Last year’s AGMs were held at the same venue and included debates on the proposed merger that led to the creation of the merged organisation, fixture congestion, junk food advertising in football and football governance.
Registration for the event will open at 11.30am and the meeting will commence at 12.30pm – we anticipate the AGM to close no later than 4pm, subject to motions and following debates.
Lunch, along with teas and coffees, will be provided for delegates.
Motions
If you want to propose new areas of policy or campaign activity, motions to put to the conference can be emailed to company secretary Richard Irving.
Members who are looking for any further information or guidance on submitting motions can find a guide to the process here.
The deadline for submission is Friday 14th June. AGM packs will be sent out to registered delegates the following week.
