The Football League is 125 years young and they’ve knocked up a nice video with some of the earliest known professional football footage including Newcastle Utd v Liverpool (Nov 1901) and PNE v Notts County (Oct 1904).
In recent seasons, the supporters’ movement in the women’s game has flourished and Manchester City Women’s Official Supporters Club are just one of the many fan groups riding that wave.
