Crystal Palace fans have lodged an official complaint against Sussex Police following their treatment at the club’s trip to Brighton & Hove Albion in November 2017.
Non-league clubs will be buoyed by the findings of a survey which indicates more than three quarters of regular matchgoers intend on returning to the game straight away if it is able to kick-off this autumn, but there is still work to do ensuring fans feel safe within stadiums.
Following this morning’s announcement of a pause in the plans for a staged return of supporters to stadiums from October 1st Kevin Miles, chief executive of the Football Supporters’ Association, said:
The Premier League, EFL, FA, Women’s Super League and Women’s Championship have released a joint open letter to supporters reaffirming their commitment to getting fans back into stadiums – and doing it safely.
