To paraphrase Oscar Wilde, himself a noted goalkeeping expert (probably), making one mistake may be considered unfortunate, but making two in quick succession just looks like carelessness. Quite what he would have made of SV Ried ‘keeper Thomas Gebauer we don’t know, but his double-howler in his side’s game against PSV is already a front-runner in the funniest goal in the season award.
