Qualification for WC2018 as El Salvador take on St.Kitts & Nevis. The game ended 2-2 and was lit up by a comedy goal, thanks to a stumble by SK&N captain Atiba Harris. Check out the toddler-esque strop by the midfielder too. Brilliant.

Sad news came from China this week that former Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tioté had died from a heart attack aged just 30. During his 139 appearances for the Magpies he scored only one goal – you don’t need us to explain the backstory, just enjoy it once more. Rest in peace, Cheick.

And finally… fast-kickin’, low scorin’

The USA met neighbours Mexico in a World Cup qualifier this week. Finishing 1-1 the game got off to an excellent start with this fantastic long-range lob from Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley, who you may remember from a three game loan stint at Aston Villa in 2011. No?

And finally… Ronaldinho

It’s 15 years this week since Ronaldinho looped that free kick over Seaman’s head at the World Cup. That’s enough of an excuse for a link to the greatest piece of showmanship in a warm up ever. Take a bow, Ronaldinho. Amazing…
