Everyone’s got a favourite goal and it often involves their team. But take a step back from club loyalties and there’s some corkers out there. Handily the top 10 goals of the past 12 months have been shortlisted for FIFA’s Puskas Award. Check ’em out below.

New Year in the Welsh Premier League was marked in some style by Carmarthen Town ‘keeper Lee Idzi – scoring the first goal in the division in 2018 from his own box against Aberystwyth Town. Good effort.
