Away Goals – Europa League Final fanzine

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

With tens of thousands of Manchester United fans due to descend on Stockholm for this week’s Europa League final against Ajax, we have produced an Away Goals fanzine full of useful information for those making the trip.

The fanzine is part of our fans’ embassy, a ‘by fans, for fans’ service run in conjunction with our affiliate members at the Manchester United Supporters Trust that will see a team of volunteers on the streets of the Swedish capital from Tuesday until Thursday, offering advice and assistance to all United fans.

The official Manchester United fans’ meeting point will be at Rörstrandsgatan, but regardless of where you pitch up for the day the fanzine is full of useful information on getting around, matchday arrangements and some of Stockholm’s best sights.

Update – British Embassy Closure

News that came to us after we went to print that may be useful if you get in to trouble while in Sweden, is that due to a public holiday the British Embassy will be closed from Thursday 25th May until Monday 29th May inclusive. So make sure you keep an extra tight grip on your passport, as should you lose it you won’t be able to get a temporary replacement until Tuesday 30th May at the earliest!

Any other late news or updates will appear here, but otherwise we wish all United fans a safe and enjoyable trip to the final.
