Celebrating supporters at The Valley – “All Different. All Together. All Charlton.”
FSA-members Charlton Athletic Supporters’ Trust (CAST) will launch a new exhibition celebrating the club’s fan base on Saturday 3rd May (12pm) in the Fans’ Bar at The Valley, ahead of the club’s EFL match against Burton Albion.
CAST have worked with our Fans for Diversity initiative on the event which will feature supporter portraits under the banner “All Different. All Together. All Charlton.”

The campaign enables “fans to love their difference and togetherness” by celebrating the diverse background of matchgoers and making clear that The Valley is for all – whether that’s lifelong supporters or those new to the area who’d like to get behind their local team.
CAST said: “Charlton is the original community club – founded not by a school, church or factory, but by a group of mates who just wanted to play football. Since then, at its best the club has led the way on community values including anti-racism.”
The exhibition features 30 Addicks’ fans on enlarged stickers, each with their own story – a Syrian refugee whose family never misses a game, the captain of LGBT+ team Charlton Invicta, a young group of boys starting their football journey, and many, many more.

Charlton Athletic fans celebrate
Hannah Kumari, campaign manager of Fans for Diversity, said: “All Different. All Together. All Charlton is an evolution of our My City, My Shirt initiative which we are proud to support.
“My City, My Shirt is all about celebrating the identity of a club; local iconic landmarks and fans of all ages and backgrounds. This is encapsulated perfectly in Charlton’s campaign.
“It’s great to see a range of fans which truly reflect the diversity of southeast London, whilst the idea to turn those portraits into retro football stickers is a wonderful celebration of classic football culture.”
The Fans for Diversity campaign is a partnership between the Football Supporters’ Association and Kick It Out. Its aim is simple – to celebrate diversity in football to ensure all fans feel safe and welcome at the game, regardless of; age, disability, gender, race, faith, sexual orientation or any other protected characteristic.

The exhibition features the work of photographer Rhea Spencer-Newell who followed the men’s and women’s team through the 2024/25 season, taking candid shots of Addicks’ fans at the match and around the ground. Designer Oliver Watts turned those photos into retro style football stickers. Our thanks go to both for their superb work.
