With less than two weeks to go before England travel to Qatar to face Brazil on Saturday 14th November we thought it was a good time to remind our readers that the Free Lions Fans’ Guide to Doha is now on site. With Brazil currently the world’s number one ranked nation according to FIFA it should be an interesting test for the Three Lions.

Qatar is of course a Muslim state and the culture is totally different to that of England so it’s more important than ever that you check out our Fans’ Guide to Doha.

Remember the three P’s before you fly – strictly NO plonk, pork or porn!

The game will take place at the 50,000 seater Khalifa Stadium and is the legacy of England’s fixture at Wembley in 2007 against the five-time world champions. The match was England’s first full international at the newly built Wembley and ended 1-1 with Diego grabbing a last minute equaliser to cancel John Terry’s opener.

As part of Brazil’s agreement to play the FA agreed a return fixture within the next three years. For commercial reasons the Brazilian’s decided this would take place in the Gulf state of Qatar.

The Nationwide FSF Fans’ Embassy service will of course be in operation dishing out issue 99 of Free Lions.

They’ll be based at the Ramada Hotel, Doha. The Embassy team will be lazing in the sun on the afternoon of Friday 13th November between the hours of 1pm-5pm and Saturday 14th November from 10am-5pm.
