Next summer will see the Women’s European Championship taking place in England – and UEFA are looking for volunteers to add to their 1,500-strong workforce.
In July, Euro 2022 matches will take place in London, Manchester, Sheffield, Southampton, Brighton, Milton Keynes, Rotherham and Leigh.
UEFA seek 150 volunteers to assist matchgoing fans in each of those eight towns and cities. Each host city will have volunteers carrying out roles in the city centres, fan zones and transport hubs.
Half of the volunteer roles on offer will be assisting fans on matchday – such as directing supporters around grounds and answering any questions fans may have.
The FSA’s Free Lionesses team, who debuted at the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France, will also be in attendance across the tournament to assist supporters. You can find out more about the Free Lionesses’ work here.
