Supporter representatives from top-flight clubs met with the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) recently to discuss ongoing issues around the implementation of VAR in English football.

Supporter representatives from top-flight clubs met with the Premier League in late September to discuss a range of issues which impact match-going fans – including the return to grounds, Fan-Led Review of Football Governance and the impact of TV picks on match-goers.
The meeting took place under the auspices of the Football Supporters’ Association on 29th September 2021 and was attended by senior Premier League officials including chief executive Richard Masters.
Fan representatives from six Premier League clubs attended the meeting, drawn from our network of democratically structured trusts and supporter groups.
This was the tenth meeting between fan organisations and the Premier League which followed Government recommendations on fan engagement. The first took place in July 2016.
The date of the next meeting will be announced in due course. The FSA and Premier League meet twice per year in formal supporter engagement meetings.
