Fans meet Premier League

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

Football Supporters’ Federation Chief Executive Kevin Miles yesterday (Friday 23rd January 2015) led a delegation of fans into Premier League HQ to talk ticket prices and more.

The group included representatives from our affiliates at Blue Union, Manchester United Supporters’ Trust, Newcastle United Supporters’ Trust, Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust, and Spirit of Shankly.

The issue of high prices is one which our members raise time and again, and our Affordable Football For All! demo delivered that message to the Premier League and Football League in August 2014.

This is an ongoing process and we’re keen to maintain constructive dialogue with the authorities, who do acknowledge our concerns in relation to pricing, ticket categorisation, and the pinch point when kids graduate out of the concessionary price band.

We also want to develop our campaigns and work in this area in relation to the Football League and beyond. High prices aren’t exclusive to the top-flight. If you want to get involved, email [email protected].
