Our supporters trusts come up with all sorts of ways to commemorate their clubs history. Barnsley Supporters Trust recently funded a fan’s trip to restore the resting place of the club founder Reverend Tiverton Preedy.

English football’s original supporters trust, Northampton Town Supporters Trust, are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year and here they tell us about the trust’s pioneering journey since 1992…
Congratulations are in order to FSA members the Official Accrington Stanley Supporters Trust (OASST) who have been awarded a King’s Award for Voluntary Service – the highest award a local voluntary group can receive in the UK and equivalent to an MBE.
The Government is facing growing calls from National League clubs to provide ongoing pandemic support in the form of grants, rather than the loans that have been promised under the Government’s Sports Winter Survival Package. Rather than become further indebted to play matches behind closed doors, there’s a growing fear that clubs could refuse to complete the season at the top levels of non-league as a result.
