Our Free Lionesses are back this summer and are looking forward to supporting fans through this year’s Euro 2022 tournament.
Crossing the Line
The summer’s work will kick off next month with a special event we’re running in partnership with the National Football Museum on Tuesday 5th July called Crossing the Line.
Featuring a This Fan Girl exhibition, Crossing the Line will also see a whole host of activities taking place including lightning talks, museum tours, DJs and more.
My Country, My Shirt
Two weeks later at the 2022 FSA AGM, Free Lionesses will also be unveiling a portrait project called ‘My Country, My Shirt’ – a national and women’s game take on the Fans for Diversity campaign’s My Club, My Shirt initiative. Portraits for the exhibition will be captured at the National Football Museum event above.
The art will be exhibited at the AGM taking place on Saturday 16th July in London. You can register for that event here.
Fans’ Embassy service
The Free Lionesses team will then be present at every Lionesses game across the tournament, we will have Fans’ Embassy points in each host city the Lionesses play in and we have volunteers on hand around the city to chat with supporters. We will also be giving out free supporters celebration guides (which have been designed by SheKicks and supported by the FA) which has loads of useful information it in.

Ahead of the women’s Euro 2022 championships this summer the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra are working with the FA to produce a new anthem for the tournament – and they’re asking fans to get involved.
The Free Lionesses Fans’ Embassy which debuted at the World Cup back in 2019 will be returning for England’s visit to Northern Ireland next month.
