Free Lions 145 – Marseille Guide

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

England take on Russia in Marseille this weekend as we begin Euro 2016 in France’s oldest and possibly sunniest city.

As ever we’ve produced a match-specific Free Lions for the fixture – something we’ll be doing for all the group games and, should we progress, the knock-out rounds too.

The FSF Fans’ Embassy will be operating from the Cube info point at the Old Port on Friday and before the match on Saturday. We’ll have hard copies of Free Lions 145 to give out, as well as the England Fans’ Guide to France.

You can also keep up to date by following Free Lions on Twitter @FSF_FreeLions and the Free Lions facebook page.

Free Lions 145 includes:

  • A Guide to Marseille – getting around, eating and drinking
  • Clive Hetherington speaks to Bryan Robson about England’s chances
  • A look at Russia’s “Key 3” players
  • Clive Etherington on life after Capello
  • Looking ahead to Lens
  • And much more!

As with previous tournaments, we’ve produced a comprehensive guide to the host nation, the England Fans’ Guide to France. You can download a digital copy here.
