Free Lions 146 – Lens guide

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

England take on Wales in Lens tomorrow in what will be the first home nations “derby” between the two teams at a major tournament.

As ever we’ve produced a match-specific Free Lions for the fixture – something we’ll be doing for all the group games and, should we progress, the knock-out rounds too.

The FSF Fans’ Embassy will be handing out hard copies in Lille today around Place du Théâtre then in Lens on matchday – they’ll be between Gare De Lens and the fanzone at Place Jean Jaurès.

You can also keep up to date by following Free Lions on Twitter @FSF_FreeLions and the Free Lions facebook page.

Free Lions 146 includes:

  • A Guide to Lens – it’s a brief one
  • Clive Hetherington looks back at the Russia game
  • A look at Wales’s “Key 3” players
  • FSF Statement on Marseille
  • Looking ahead to St Étienne
  • And much more!

As with previous tournaments, we’ve produced a comprehensive guide to the host nation, the England Fans’ Guide to France. You can download a digital copy here.
