Free Lions 163 – Guide to St Petersburg

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

Following England’s semi-final defeat to Croatia, they’ll be heading off to Saint Petersburg to play Belgium in the 2018 World Cup third place play-off.

Once again, our Fans’ Embassy team will be at the match providing assistance to England fans and handing out copies of Free Lions 163, our guide to Russia’s second biggest city.

The Fans’ Embassy will be operating on the afternoon of Friday 13th July between 14:00 and 17:00, and on match day, Saturday 14th July, between 10:00 and 14:00, and we’ll be based at the tourist information office in Palace Square.

In the meantime, keep up to date by following Free Lions on Twitter @FSF_FreeLions and the Free Lions facebook page.

Free Lions 163 includes:

  • Pride and belief: Clive Hetherington on England’s World Cup
  • Welcome to Saint Petersburg: a guide to the city on the Baltic Sea
  • A look ahead to the third place play-off…
