Free Lions 180: Italy vs England (Naples)

England make the trip to Naples next week for their Euro 2024 qualifier against Italy (Thursday 23th March, 7.45pm GMT). As ever, our Free Lions team have been busy pulling together all available information for matchday supporters ahead of the trip – Free Lions 180 is out now.

Ticket collection & stadium info

The England Supporters Travel Club has announced there will be no ticket collection point (TCP) for this match. Tickets are normally 100% collection but it hasn’t been possible to secure a TCP for this game.

E-tickets will be issued to supporters ahead of the game to the email address associated with the account when the ticket was purchased. It is your responsibility to ensure your phone has enough charge, as portable chargers are not permitted inside the stadium.

Two ID checks will take place at the stadium. The first check will be by Italian stewards due to tickets needing to have the name of the supporter printed on the ticket. The second check will be undertaken by FA staff.

At the time of going to print, version 180 of the Free Lions contained hopeful information about a ticket collection point, travel to the stadium and a Fans’ Embassy location based on discussions from the security visit in February.

More information about a Fans’ Embassy location, travel to the stadium and other key bits of information will be released soon. It is fair to say that it has been harder to secure solid information from the local authorities than is usual ahead of an away game.

Therefore it’s important that travelling fans keep up up-to-date by following Free Lions on Twitter @WeAreFreeLions and / or the Free Lions Facebook page.

Any major updates will also be posted on this FSA news page.
