England fans looking forward to their trip to Rio for the friendly against Brazil on Sunday 2nd June can now finally buy their tickets for the game from the FA. Tickets go on sale to englandfans members from midday on Tuesday 14th May until 3pm on Friday 17th May.
The price of tickets for the game is a whopping £60, continuing a sequence of expensive away friendly trips after games in Oslo, Bern (v Italy) and Stockholm.
Portuguese Primeira Liga side Tondela are the stars of this week’s And finally… with four of the green and yellow striped knackers conspiring to miss an open goal against Chaves. The main culprit, however, has to be forward Cristian Arango with some very ropey finishing. Incidentally – they lost.
England make the short trip north of the border to face Scotland tomorrow (Saturday 10th June) as their World Cup qualifying campaign resumes – and Free Lions will be there once more.
