This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.
Thanks for visiting the Free Lions’ World Cup pages. At the moment we’re scurrying about behind the scenes pulling together all the last minute information we need to ensure the Free Lions’ Guide to the World Cup is as good as it can possibly be.
We’re officially launching on Friday December 4th to coincide with the day of the World Cup draw so come back to these pages then and prepare to be blown away. Or at least mildly impressed!
You should also sign up to our Fan Mail (general) and E-Lions (England) bulletins left and receive all the latest news, views and updates. We’ve also just caught up with the rest of the planet and started our very own Twitter feed if you’re into that sort of thing.
For those who haven’t seen them in action the Free Lions team are a group of FSF members who follow England home and abroad providing Three Lions supporters with all the best advice via:
For those unfamiliar with the FSF generally we’re the national supporters’ organisation for all football fans in England and Wales. We have more than 150,000 individual fans and members of local supporters organisations from every club in the professional structure and many from the pyramid.
Joining the FSF is your chance to make a difference. We have regular meetings with the football authorities, police, Department of Culture Media and Sport and loads of other organisations whose actions matter to football fans.
We regularly take up specific complaints and cases raised by individual members or affiliated organisations and we encourage the participation of all supporters in this process.
It’s vital that we have enough members so that we can legitimately claim to represent the views of football fans – do your bit and join today.
