FSA Awards 2024 – vote now!

We are pleased to announce the shortlists for the 2024 Football Supporters’ Association Awards – voting is open now and fans can back their favourites here. 90 candidates are battling it out across 16 categories, recognising everything from the best players of the past year to the best podcasts and fanzines in both the men’s and women’s game.

The largest supporter-led awards in the country are back. Now in their fourteenth year, this year’s FSA Awards are the largest yet, with 18 awards in total to be dished out on the night.

The Men’s Player of the Year category features a pair of players from Manchester City’s title-winning side in the shape of Rodri and Erling Haaland, along with a trio of England internationals in Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) and Cole Palmer (Chelsea). They’ll all be vying to dethrone three-time winner of the award and current holder, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

The shortlist for the Women’s Player of the Year also features two Manchester City stars, in Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and Lauren Hemp. They face off against the Chelsea pair of Lauren James and Erin Cuthbert, with Manchester United’s Grace Clinton and Arsenal’s Lotte Wubben-Moy completing the list.

Our Fans for Diversity campaign, run jointly with Kick It Out, has its own award, promoting the good work of fan groups who make football more inclusive and welcoming to all communities, while in other categories fans will be able to have their say on the best commentators, podcasts, social media accounts and football writers, among others.

Nine categories are open to a public vote, with the rest being decided by an FSA panel. The shortlist for our new Goal of the Year Award will be announced in the lead up to the ceremony, which will also be decided by a public vote.

Voting is open until midday on Monday 18th November, with the awards being handed out at our awards ceremony, which will be held at Nobu in Portman Square, London, on Monday 2nd December, presented by Victoria Derbyshire.
