This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.
The Football Supporters’ Federation and Supporters Direct have continued their work towards merging both organisations into one – the aim being to create a single, unified voice for all football fans.
Staff from both organisations met to discuss the operational issues surrounding the merger and make recommendations to be put to the new joint interim board, which will meet for the first time on Wednesday 19th September 2018.
The interim board is made up of six representatives – three from both the FSF and SD – including the chair of both organisations. Both organisations’ CEOs will also attend the interim board as non-voting members.
A further update will be made available after that meeting.
