This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

The Football Supporters’ Federation Awards in association with William Hill have been announced, have your say and vote here. Over the course of the next fortnight, we’ll be taking a look at each category individually.

Voting is open now – to cast your votes, visit: www.fsf.org.uk/awards

Independent Website of the Year:

  • The Anfield Wrap – Insightful coverage of the goings on at Anfield, this is more than just a podcast (although that regularly reaches the top spots of the iTunes charts); they’ve branched out to include radio shows, digital magazines and live events, becoming something of a Liverpool institution.
  • Fantasy Football Scout – Arguably the go-to site for the millions of players of fantasy football players throughout the world, their in-depth coverage of the virtual game is tremendous, with an active and welcoming community and regular articles, stats and podcasts.
  • The Inside Left – Home to football writing with ‘no agenda, no specialist subject, no gimmicks at all’ the Inside Left provides analysis, interviews and commentary of football issues from around the globe, with a healthy dose of nostalgia thrown in. Highly recommended.
  • True Faith – What started out as a traditional fanzine back in the day has become a mini multi-media empire all of its own – from podcasts to digital fanzines, local news, blogs and the Saturday Special, it’s a tremendous resource for those of a black-and-white hue.
  • The Two Unfortunates – Previously shortlisted for this award, the Two Unfortunates continues to offer a breadth of unbiased and interesting coverage of the 72 clubs who make up the majority of professional football in the country, but who otherwise lack the majority of the media output.
  • WhoScored – With statistics ever-creeping into the discussion surrounding football in recent years, WhoScored is a treasure trove for those who want to get more analytical, or perhaps just win that argument or prove their point with their mate. Their regular infographics are a particular highlight.

Voting is open now – to cast your votes, visit: www.fsf.org.uk/awards

Voting will close at midday on Monday 24th November, with the winners announced at our awards dinner on Monday 1st December at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London.
