#ICYMI: His name is Diogo

Posted on 3rd July 2025

Like everyone else in European football we were shocked by the sudden and tragic passing of former-Wolves and Liverpool forward Diogo Jota this week. The lad from Portugal was a fantastic footballer who won League Cups, FA Cup and Premier League title with the Reds in five years – scoring many a tidy goal on the way. He will be missed.

  • What is #ICYMI? Every week we highlight a howler, great goal or something which amuses us from the world of football. Join the FSA for free and get it delivered to your inbox every week.
