The FSA AGM will take place in Manchester on Saturday 24th June – and we’ll be joined from supporters across the continent for the European Football Fans Congress (EFFC23).
EFFC23 is Football Supporters Europe’s annual showcase and it’s the first time the FSA has hosted the event since 2008 – when the first ever EFFC was held at the Emirates Stadium.
There’ll be a whole range of events taking place across a long weekend which will kick off with an opening event on Thursday 22nd June and running through until its close on Sunday afternoon.
The FSA AGM will take place on the Saturday and see a range of subjects debated – with the ongoing Fan-led Review of Football Governance sure to be high on the agenda.
EFFC23 will cover a broader range of topics than ever before including:
A fuller programme with special guests and specific venue details will be announced soon.
EFFC23 will also see FSE’s Biennial General Meeting take place on the Saturday, which provides FSE members with an opportunity to influence the organisation’s aims, objectives, and policies, as well as to approve changes to the constitution and elect members to the organisation’s board.
FSA chair Malcolm Clarke said: “We’re delighted to host this year’s EFFC and we can’t wait to give hundreds of supporters from across the continent a friendly welcome – we’re sure it’ll be a great weekend.”
The EFFC is an important forum for all football supporters – helping identify fans’ most pressing concerns through a series of workshops, panel sessions, discussions, and social activities, with representatives from European governing bodies and political institutions also in attendance.
