This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

The FSF and FSF Cymru’s condolences go to the family and friends of Gary Speed – a massively popular figure among fans, respected not only for his talent but his total commitment to the game. FSF Cymru’s Vince Alm: “Gary was not only a player’s player but a real fan favourite. A great bloke, very courteous – it’s a very sad day for football.”
