Nationwide FSF Fans’ Embassy in Seville

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

England will travel to Seville to face Spain on Wednesday, February 11th, 2009, looking for a sixth successive win although we’re sure the European Champions won’t make things too easy for us!

Friendly or not, European Champions Spain will provide fantastic opposition, and the game should be a good indicator on just how far England have progressed. With a 100 per cent record in their World Cup 2010 qualifying campaign, 15 wins in their last 16 games, and an unbeaten record stretching back 28 games, they’re not a bad side you know. Check out our Guide to Seville.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Fans’ Guide it gives the full lowdown on whatever city England happen to be visiting covering everything from your tourist hotspots, to the best places for food and drink.

Along with that most vital info we also post up travel tips, info on Stadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, things you need to know about Seville, and much more. Crucially we’ll also be giving you all that vital matchday info once our Free Lions team (aka the Seville Servants) return from their drinking trip, erm, we mean pre-match recce, in Seville.

For those who aren’t regulars with the national team and find yourselves asking, ‘what the flip is Free Lions and the Nationwide FSF Fans’ Embassy?’ check out more about us at this link. You can sign up for E-Lions updates before every England games via the newsletter link to your left.

The Nationwide FSF Fan’s Embassy service will operate in Seville on the afternoon of Tuesday 10th and 10am-6pm on Wednesday, February 11th. The Spanish authorities have confirmed that we will be based in the fan zone at Prado de San Sebastiane on Wednesday, February 11th.
