Never turn your back on the ball

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

And finally…has given keepers a bit of a kicking lately. Errors in Tunisia, Germany, Morocco and Morocco again all had us in stitches but we feel a bit guilty, keepers are an easy target after all. So we feel bad. Not bad enough to resist this corker though. Remember the sorry tale of FAR Rabat’s Khalid Askri? He ‘saved’ a pen, turned round to celebrate, and the ball spun over the line. This one’s even more unlikely – ball strikes bar, flies miles up in the air, keeper celebrates, ball returns to Earth’s orbit and spins into net.
