The next meeting of the North West and North Wales Division of the Football Supporters’ Federation will take place this Thursday March 25th at 7pm. The venue for the meeting is the Waldorf Pub, 12 Gore Street, Manchester, M1 3AQ. The venue is only five minutes walk from the main Piccadilly rail station, and there is also car parking available close by. It’s not just the courts at Wimbledon that are busy at this time of year – a worrying increase in football clubs facing administration and liquidation is creating more work for the High Court in London, as winding up petitions are served against a growing number of clubs unable to pay their debts.
For the third year running the FSA will be supporting the North West Football Awards – an event celebrating the best and brightest across all levels of football in the north west.
Two derbies in the north west this week have drawn criticism from supporters, not for what’s happening on the pitch, but for fans’ voices being excluded from major decisions around derby-day operations. FSA caseworker Amanda Jacks explains more…
