Harry says the game is at risk of losing its young supporters by charging extortionate prices for children still in education.

FA rejects Hull Tigers name change

Sky News are reporting that the Football Association’s Membership Committee has rejected Hull City owner Assem Allam’s bid to rebrand the club Hull Tigers. The news will receive a rapturous reception among fans and the FA deserves great credit for coming to the correct conclusion.

Home Office consultation on World Cup pub hours

The Home Office has today (Thursday 13th March 2014) launched a two week consultation on the proposal to relax licensing hours for England matches in this year’s World Cup. The consultation is open until 11:59pm on 26th March.

89% of Norwich City fans say “yes” to safe standing

Norwich City supporters are the latest to give the thumbs up to safe standing following a survey by fans’ group Barclay End Projekt. 89% of 853 respondents gave their backing to a safe standing trial at a top-flight English ground.

Pompey refund fans’ travel costs after TV moves game

In past seasons we’ve been very critical of clubs who are happy to take TV’s money, even if it means games are moved and away fans lose out on pre-booked travel and hotel costs. So we were interested to read that Portsmouth refunded fans’ travel and hotel costs after the club’s game at Chesterfield was moved from Saturday 1st to Monday 3rd March for TV.
