Production remembers Bradford fire

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

Ahead of the 30th anniversary of the Bradford City fire, where 56 football fans died at Valley Parade on 11th May 1985, a new theatrical production remembering that day will be touring the country.

‘The 56’ retells the story of those involved in the Bradford City fire. Adapted solely from real-life testimonies and interviews with witnesses, ‘The 56’ pays homage to the supporters who lost their lives in one of the darkest days in British footballing history and the acts of bravery of those who survived. See the poster below for tour details…
