Safe standing: Time-lapse vid of UK’s first ‘rail seat’ installation

Bristol City have become the first club in the UK to install safe standing rail seats into their stadium. This comes hot-on-the-heels of the Football League’s announcement last week that it would lobby the Government for a change in the rules to permit safe standing areas for football matches.

Cardiff City, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur will be the first clubs to have licensed ‘safe standing’ in seated areas from January 1st the sports minister announced today.
