The turnout was 65% of trusts eligible to vote.

As a result, Tim Hartley, Antony Wilkinson. Neil Le Milliere and Michael Green will serve three-year terms on the Council and Geoff Bielby will serve a one-year term. Roger Titford was not elected.

We would like to thank all the candidates for standing in the election and look forward to working with the newly elected and re-elected members in the coming months.

Peter Martin stood down from the Council. Everyone at SD would like to thank Peter for his time during his elected period.

The Rugby League Council election attracted four candidates for the four positions available. Therefore, David Bulcock, Stephen Johnson, Martyn Cheney and Chris McMellon were all elected to the Council. Three positions were available for three-year terms and one position was available for two years. After discussions, Stephen Johnson agreed to accept the two-year term.
