SD General Meeting update – transfer of assets

This is a story from the SD archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

Members of Supporters Direct voted on Tuesday 11th December 2018 to confirm the transfer of the assets of the organisation to the new Unified Football Supporters’ Organisation as agreed at the General Meeting held on 22nd November 2018.

The resolution was:

“That the resolution adopted on 22nd November 2018 transferring the engagements and assets of this Society to the Unified Football Supporters’ Organisation Limited is hereby confirmed.”

Pursuant to Section 113 of the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 the resolution was required to be passed by a majority of the Society’s members voting in person or by proxy.

Voting on the resolution was as follows:

For: 25
Against: 2
Abstentions: 1

A total of 28 full members (from a total membership of 83) voted giving a turnout of 34%. A quorum of members was present at the meeting.

The transfer of assets was therefore duly confirmed.
