Plans for this month’s League Cup final have been criticised by supporters of the competing finalists over a lack of “logic or common sense”.

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.
It promises to be an exciting couple of weeks as the domestic 2016-17 football season comes to close at Wembley this month.
This weekend the final promotion spot from League One will be decided when Millwall take on Bradford City in the League One play-off final on Saturday, 20th May.
Over the following weekend Wembley will host the FA Cup final (Saturday 27th May), the League Two play-off final (Sunday 28th May) and the Championship play-off final (bank holiday Monday 29th May).
Many of you will be looking for a quick pint along the way and ahead of every major fixture local pubs are “split”. It’s important fans know which are “theirs”. The pubs may refuse entry to the “wrong” fans.
Please note the FSF doesn’t play any role in allocating pubs to specific sets of fans, the Met Police share this information and we believe it’s important fans know the lay of the land so they can make the most of their day.

Supporters organisations at Liverpool and Manchester City are calling on the FA to move their semi-final in April from Wembley after learning of rail disruption.
Last weekend’s FA Cup final between Chelsea and Liverpool might have been short on goals, even if it was a great game, but viewers will have noticed an abundance of smoke bombs.
Yesterday supporters from fan groups in the FSA’s League One & Two Network gave evidence to the government’s fan-led review. The chair, Tracey Crouch MP, and the rest of the panel heard from a number of supporters’ trusts and fan groups about the big issues in the third and fourth tiers.
