As well as the Wales men’s team via FSA Cymru, our work in the women’s game continues to grow – as we now welcome two new supporter groups who follow Wales Wome home and away: Wal Goch y Menywod (Wales Women’s Red Wall) and the We are Cymru Wales women’s Football Supporters Group. There’s more on both these young and growing fan groups below.

Wal Goch y Menywod / Wales Women’s Red Wall

FSA members Wal Goch y Menywod are a fledgling supporter group looking to build an atmosphere and fan culture amongst supporters of the Wales women national team.

Primarily, the group organises bookings for home matches, helping people meet fellow fans and join in with the singing – but they also help those following Wales overseas with travel info and support, particularly for first time travellers.

You can follow their work over on Twitter/X @Wmenywod or on Instagram @walgochymenywod.

We are Cymru: Wales women’s Football Supporters Group

Led by Judy and Holly Shaw, the We Are Cymru Wales Women’s Football Supporters Group has grown to almost 3,000 online members over the last 12 months.

Centralised around a Facebook group, Judy says the group’s aim is to “is to build an inclusive community of fans that come together, help put women’s football in the spotlight and support our amazing team.”

“It’s a place for supporters old and new, to ask questions, find and share information and get to know other fans,” Judy said.

The group also publicise flight and hotel details for supporters attending away matches to encourage first time travellers to ‘take the plunge’ and start following Wales away – they’ve been working with Wal Goch y Menywod to build relationships across the fanbase.
