On another (less rainy) day, Spain may have won the Women’s U19 European Championship. Their captain Nahikari Garcia should have equalised in the 92nd with this close range effort. She also missed a penalty earlier on. Gutted.

The USL gave us some top tier comedy this week, when North Carolina FC took on Charleston Battery. With the game tied at 1-1 in the 97th North Carolina could have won the game if just one of their players could have found the net in amongst all this madness…
