And finally… RIP Eusebio

Earlier this week Portuguese legend Eusebio died aged 71. RIP. See the following clip for great footage of Eusebio tearing teams apart at the 1966 World Cup, including four goals in the quarter final against North Korea, overturning a three goal deficit.

Football Supporters Europe calls for UEFA action over rip-off away ticket prices

Both Manchester United and Liverpool fans were ripped off last season by unscrupulous clubs who spotted a loophole UEFA’s regulations which allowed them to charge visiting fans a lot more than home fans in European competition. And finally… no look

Fair to say Elfsborg defender Robert Gojani had an absolutely mare this week – scoring an own goal and getting sent off before their Allsvenskan match against Häcken was 20 minutes old. His hilarious no-look effort sent Elfsborg on their way to a 5-0 hammering. Oh dear.

And finally… Bad Dost

Sporting Lisbon rounded off a rotten week Sunday gone by losing 2-1 in the final of the Portuguese Cup. Dutch striker Bas Bost could have got his side back in the game in the 79th minute if he had of finished with the goal at his mercy…
