Christmas contacts for supporters who need legal support

The overwhelming majority of match-day experiences pass without incident but occasionally things do go wrong.

If that happens and you feel you’ve been treated unfairly we’re here to offer advice and support. Over the years we have given support to thousands of fans, and successfully challenged the misuse of power on many, many occasions.

While the FSA office is closed during Christmas, reopening on Tuesday 2nd January, our legal contacts are still available to offer support during that period. They are some of the country’s most experienced solicitors in relation to fans, football, and the law.

  • Football Law Associates specialise in representing football supporters who require advice and assistance at the police station or court. Representation at the police station is free under the Legal Aid Advice & Assistance Scheme and some supporters will be eligible for free representation at court. Football Law Associates have had a long standing working relationship with the FSA since 2008 assisting countless supporters over the years. If you would like a confidential and free call with one of their solicitors please call 0333 939 0063 or contact via Football Law Associates.
  • ITN Solicitors specialise in making complaints and bringing claims against the police. ITN Solicitors and the FSA have worked together for many years. If you would like to speak to one of their team please do contact them and rest assured that initial discussions and information advice is free – call 020 3909 8100 or contact via ITN Solicitors. Not everyone will be financially eligible for Legal Aid in civil cases but ITN can discuss whether they can take your case on with a ‘no win, no fee’ agreement or a fixed fee for specific work.

If your query is not legal and relates to another football matter contact the FSA making sure to explain the issue in full. That will be sent to the relevant FSA staff member or official who will get back in touch with you in the new year.
