Community-owned clubs directory launched

Promotion of community-ownership is embedded within the FSA’s Mission Statement and something that we hold very dear, so we’re pleased to launch our updated Community Owned Clubs directory.

But what do we mean by community ownership? All 40 clubs listed below are controlled by their members who own at least 50% +1 of the voting rights, through an open and transparent democratic model that encourages fan participation. Their profits are also reinvested back into the club, and they are committed to running as a sustainable business.

You can find your nearest community-owned club on the map below, while the full list links to each club’s website and Twitter feed.

Community-owned clubs shine in pre-season cups

The Brian Lomax Cup and Supporters Direct Shield take place each pre-season, with the two trophies providing an opportunity to celebrate community ownership by bringing together supporter-owned clubs from different parts of the country to compete for some pre-season silverware. 

Community-owned clubs and the rising cost of living

Last week we launched a survey with the Non-League Paper looking at what impact fans expected the cost of living crisis this winter to have on their attendance. If you are a fan of a non-league club, you can fill in that survey here.
