David Stacey RIP

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

The FSF was saddened to hear last week of the death of one of its longstanding members, David Stacey of the Football Programme Directory, following an illness.

David may have been known to some of you through his work with the Football Programme Directory and attended our quarterly meetings on those Sundays when he was not involved with programme fairs. He also hosted meetings for us at Wickford Community Centre, most recently our September meeting last year. We will be holding one minute’s silence in memory of David at our AGM on 19th April.

David’s funeral will take place at Southend Crematorium on Monday 27th April 2009 at 11.15 am.

On behalf of the FSF, and those who knew David, we would like to offer our sincere condolences to David’s family and friends – RIP David.
