At the FSA National Council meeting held on 31st October, three new members of the FSA board were elected.
Three members of the interim board, which was created to oversee the merger between the Football Supporters’ Federation and Supporters Direct, were retained on the board of the newly created FSA, serving a term of office up to the FSA’s first AGM in June.
Nominations were sought from among the National Council to fill these vacancies ahead of the Council’s first meeting following the AGM.
In all, five people stood for election, and the three successful candidates were Peter Daykin, Kristine Green and Fiona McGee. They will each serve a term of office until the AGM in 2022.
National Council members Tony Wilkinson and Neil le Milliere also stood for election, and we’re grateful to all five for their candidacies.
