This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.
Football Supporters Europe (FSE), the umbrella organisation for supporter groups across the continent, want to hear from fans of English clubs travelling abroad in European club competitions.
The Away Fans at European Competitions survey marks the first step in FSE’s efforts to introduce minimum standards for supporters following their teams across Europe.
Fans travelling to European games face a number of challenges – such as late fixture announcements, visa requirements, ticket prices, policing issues and more – and FSE want to see improvements across the board. The survey will monitor all of those factors as well as the conditions of away ends.

The European Football Fans Congress will take place from Thursday 22nd June to Sunday 25th June and will be co-hosted by the Football Supporters’ Association and Football Supporters Europe in north-west England (venue TBC).
