FA Cup final 2024 – pub split information

Saturday’s FA Cup final (25th May, 3pm KO) sees current holders Manchester City take on Manchester United, as their derby relocates to Wembley for the weekend, in a repeat of last year’s final.

Fancy a pre-match pint? Brent Council enforces a “No Street Drinking Zone” on Olympic Way and the surrounding area for major events but you can still get a drink in local pubs.

The pubs are “split” along team lines so it’s important fans know which pubs are “theirs” as entry to the “wrong” pub might be denied. On this occasion bouncers will presumably have to rely on replica kits or scarves as a differential rather than accents.

Please note the Football Supporters’ Association doesn’t play any role in allocating pubs to specific sets of fans, it’s a local Safety Advisory Group decision. We know many supporters will have, perfectly peacefully, travelled to Wembley with rival fans and enjoyed some banter along the way.

But we also believe it’s important fans know the lay of the land so they can make the most of their day so we reproduce the information in that context.
