Free Lionesses in Lyon

England’s players aren’t the only ones preparing for their World Cup semi-final against the United States on Tuesday – our fans’ embassy team have been putting in the miles following the team every step of the way this summer, and are already in Lyon ahead of the biggest game of the tournament so far.

The Fans’ Embassy will be based at the Wallace Bar (Rue Octavio Mey) between 11am and 6:30pm on matchday, which is coincidentally the same place that the FA Hub will be located for the collection of tickets. If you don’t get to Lyon before 6pm, tickets can also be collected outside the ticket office at the stadium – between gates B and C – from 8pm until just before kick-off.

Before setting off, why not download the Free Lionesses fanzine, produced with our friends at SheKicks? Because we were so confident we’d reach the semi-finals ahead of the tournament, we committed to giving you a quick hit of Lyon-related info, alongside some helpful tidbits about France and the tournament in general.

You should also be following the @FreeLionesses team on Twitter – they’ve produced a quick thread with some handy matchday info here already, but if you’re going to Lyon then be sure to pop along and say hello.
