Free Lions 149 – Guide to Slovakia

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

England begin their world cup qualifying campaign this weekend as they take on Slovakia in Sam Allardyce’s first match as England manager.

As ever we’ve produced a match-specific Free Lions for the fixture – something we’ll be doing for every fixture in the upcoming qualifying campaign.

We expect the FSF Fans’ Embassy team to be based at 17s Bar on Hviezdoslavovo Square from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 1pm on Sunday.

You can also keep up to date by following Free Lions on Twitter @FSF_FreeLions and the Free Lions facebook page.

Free Lions 149 includes:

  • A Guide to Bratislava, the Slovakian capital
  • Clive Hetherington speaks to Sam Allardyce about the task ahead
  • A look at Slovakia’s “Key 3” players
  • Looking around the brand new City Arena, Trnava
