FSF activist & Pompey Trust chair dies

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the death of FSF colleague, Fans’ Embassy stalwart and Pompey Supporters’ Trust Chairman Ken Malley.

National council member Ken has been involved with the supporters’ movement for many decades, and a stalwart of the FSF Fans’ Embassy team, he was due to be in Slovenia assisting fans this weekend. As co-founder of the Pompey Supporters’ Trust Ken was a pivotal figure in saving the club from a succession of dubious ownerships.

FSF Chief exec Kevin Miles said:

The FSF has lost a much loved, hugely committed and dedicated colleague, and close personal friend to many of us. Our condolences go of course to his family, to his many close friends and not least to the England Fans’ Embassy team, who have lost an inspirational colleague.
