FSF Fantasy Football – Christmas Update

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

The Football Supporters’ Federation has teamed up with The Blizzard – The Football Quarterly to offer a prize-winning fantasy football game throughout the 2013/14 season. Entry is totally free using the official Premier League game and there’ll be weekly, monthly and yearly prizes.

We have a number of winners of Manager of the Week, as well as December’s manager of the month to catch up on, from our time off over Christmas. The winners of manager of the week are

  • David Hughes’ team Roman Davlyuchenko
  • Dan Kauppi’s team Danchester City FC
  • Daniel Lumb’s team FC Randmeister ’13

The winner of the manager of the month for December, who picks up not only a copy of The Blizzard but also one of their range of Blizzard by Goalsoul t-shirts, with a score of 480 points is Leo Wright with his side HepaTitus Bramble.

Please note that the FSF cannot contact league members direct as we do not have access to your email via the Premier League’s game. Winners will be announced via this blog, the FSF Facebook page and Twitter @The_FSF. Prizewinners can claim their free issue of The Blizzard by simply emailing info@fsf.org.uk with their details, and we’ll be in touch.

You can still sign up for our Fantasy Football League

Prizes

The highest scoring manager each week will win a copy of The Blizzard. The manager of the month will also win a copy of The Blizzard with a stylish Blizzard by Goalsoul t-shirt thrown in for good measure.  If that wasn’t enough, the overall winner at the end of the season will pick up a Blizzard star-prize hamper, including a complete collection of all 12 hard copy issues, a Blizzard by Goalsoul t-shirt, a Blizzard notebook and perhaps the odd bit of signed gear too.

What is The Blizzard?

The Blizzard is a quarterly football publication put together by a cooperative of journalists and authors to provide a platform for top-class writers from across the globe to enjoy the space and the freedom to write what they like about the football stories that matter to them. It is available on a pay-what-you-like basis from www.theblizzard.co.uk, with downloads from 1p and hard copies from £6 (+ P&P). For more details, visit their website.
