FSF Fantasy Football – Final Winners

This is a story from the FSF archive – the FSF and SD merged to become the FSA in 2019.

The Football Supporters’ Federation has teamed up with The Blizzard – The Football Quarterly to offer a prize-winning fantasy football game throughout the 2013/14 season. Entry is totally free using the official Premier League game and there’ll be weekly, monthly and yearly prizes.

The Manager of the Week prize of an issue of The Blizzard for the final gameweek of the season is Nial Coulter’s side Waverley Wafflers FC, who racked up 81 points, thanks largely to his Manchester City heavy backline and midfield goals from Juan Mata and Aaron Ramsey.

The Manager of the Month prize of a Blizzard by Goalsoul t-shirt and a copy of The Blizzard goes to Antanas Manstavicius and his team FK Vilkai, who amassed 185 points in May.

The overall winner of the league and the lucky recipient of the Blizzard goody-bag of a complete collection of issues, with 2,528 points (36 clear of his nearest rival) was David Joseph’s Syria Ah.

Congratulations to all our winners throughout the season, and thank you for playing along.

Please note that the FSF cannot contact league members direct as we do not have access to your email via the Premier League’s game. Winners will be announced via this blog, the FSF Facebook page and Twitter @The_FSF. Prizewinners can claim their free issue of The Blizzard by simply emailing [email protected] with their details, and we’ll be in touch.

What is The Blizzard?

The Blizzard is a quarterly football publication put together by a cooperative of journalists and authors to provide a platform for top-class writers from across the globe to enjoy the space and the freedom to write what they like about the football stories that matter to them. It is available on a pay-what-you-like basis from www.theblizzard.co.uk, with downloads from 1p and hard copies from £6 (+ P&P). For more details, visit their website.
