João Lucas might just be the most relieved man in Brazil this week. In a chaotic second round tie in the Copa do Brasil, Gremio (down to ten men) were leading Athletic Club 3-2 and were almost through. Lucas had other ideas however and his disastrous touch in the 94th minute sent the game to pens – he did make amends though, scoring the winning penalty in the shootout.
